Our El Alamein tour will start with pick up service from your hotel in Alexandria, where our REP will meet you with aboard reflecting your name, then you will be transferred from Alexandria to El Alamein by private air-conditioned vehicle with your private Egyptologist private guide. The way to El Alamein takes 1,5 hours. Two important World War II battles were fought in the area. Winston Churchill wrote: before Alamein, we had no victory and after it we had no defeats. By arrival to El Alamein you will proceed your trip to World War II remains at the Military Museum established in 1965 to enjoy the selection of weapons, documents and displays illustrating the course of the battles. In the courtyard is collection of armored vehicles, tanks and other heavy armament. During El Alamein tour you will also visit the Military cemeteries with their memorials - British huge stone cross, German basalt obelisk and Italian high tower as reminder in honor of those who fall in battle. Lunch will be served during your El Alamein tour, then way back to your hotel in Alexandria.
