The way takes 3,5 hours driving with majestic view of mountains of the western desert. In arrival your first stop of your Luxor tour will be at the Valley of the Kings - burial place of pharaohs, hidden in the rocks, decorated with scences and funerary rituals of the period for afterlife of pharaohs. Valley of Kings is famous for Tutankhamen tomb and its treasures, discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter.
