The way takes 3,5 hours driving with majestic view of mountains of the western desert. In arrival, your first stop in Luxor tour will be at the Valley of the Kings - burial place of pharaohs, hidden in the rocks, decorated with scences and funerary rituals of the period for afterlife of pharaohs. Valley of Kings is famous for Tutankhamen tomb and its treasures, discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter. Next sightseeing of your Luxor tour will be Hatshepsut temple at El Deir Al Bahari, dedicated to the queen Hatshepsut - famous female pharaoh, the temple with three layered terraces connected by long ramps which were once surrounded by gardens. Inside Hatshepsut temple you can see text and picture of an expedition to exotic country calls Land of Punt. Proceed your Luxor trip to Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues, was stayed guard at entrance of Amenhotep III temple in ancient times, and only remaining nowadays. Name 'Colossi of Memnon' means 'Ruler of the Dawn' and was probably given, because of 'singing' at dawn one of the statue. Lunch meal will be served during Luxor trip at a good quality restaurant.
